Ordering Process

  • I've lost my 4000 series keys, what do I do?
  • You can order replacements online using just the number stamped on the lock face. Simply type in the number stamped on the lock face in the search box at the top to order.
  • How do I know which key I need to order?
  • Check the lock face for any identifying information, there will usually be a number. You can also use our guide to help match your key type.
  • Can I order a key if I don't have the original?
  • Yes, but we will need to identify the key through other means. Most locks will have a number stamped on the lock face, which in many cases is enough.
    Sometimes, we will need a picture of either the lock face, or another key if you have e.g. a set of lockers or cabinets. We can also offer you a replacement lock so that ordering keys in the future will be easier.
  • How many replacement keys should I order?
  • We have a minimum order quantity of at least two keys. Having a spare prevents future lockout situations and saves money compared to placing multiple separate orders.
    If you are ordering a large quantity of keys, you can email us a spreadsheet at sales@keysplease.co.uk, we also offer volume discounts on large orders.
  • How do I ensure my key order is accurate?
  • Double-check all information before submitting your order, especially making sure you enter the full key number.

Shipping and Delivery

  • How long will it take to receive my replacement keys?
  • We offer next-day delivery as standard. Small orders are often dispatched same-day, and in many cases you can get your keys next day. Large orders will use recorded delivery or special delivery as necessay. Small orders are sent untracked, if you require POD or tracking on orders less than £50, please email us at sales@keysplease.co.uk.
  • Do you ship internationally?
  • Yes, we ship to most countries, though international shipping times may vary. Please note that any customs or import fees must be paid for by the customer, and you may need to collect your order from your local delivery service.
  • Can I track my key order?
  • If your order has a tracking reference it will be available on the invoice sent when the order gets despatched. You can also check order status through your account on our website.

Technical Issues

  • There's something wrong with the website, what should I do?
  • Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or use a different browser. If problems persist, please contact us at sales@keysplease.co.uk.

After Ordering

  • My key arrived but doesn't work. What should I do?
  • First, please check there is no broken key or debris stuck inside the lock. Next, try spraying some lubricant inside the keyhole and working it in. It may be that the lock is a bit stiff.

  • Can I modify or cancel my order after it's been placed?
  • Please call us 0208 343 2943 or email us at sales@keysplease.co.uk as soon as possible. We will make a best effort to accommodate any changes but we cannot make guarnatees, especially if we are contacted too late.

  • Yes, it is safe to order replacement keys online. We use secure encryption in all our communication as standard, and payment processing is handled by a secure, trusted third party so we do not store any payment information.
  • How do you protect my personal information?
  • We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your personal information is never shared with third parties except as minimally required to fulfill your order.
